STOP PRESS - 'Just News' initiative launched (3rd November 2006)
*

Support packs will be sent out shortly for Just News, the newspaper competition for Catholic secondary schools and colleges launched by CES in November 2006, in conjunction with TES Newsday and the Plater Trust.

Just News will engage with themes of justice, development and peace.

First prize in each of the three age categories is £1000 to be donated to specifically support CAFOD's work to educate and empower young people in their communities in Sierra Leone and Liberia, West Africa.

Runners up in each category will receive £500 to donate for the same purpose.

For details see the letter of invitation and flyer sent to all Catholic secondary schools and sixth form colleges by email on 6 November (below).
