Succession Planning (20th September 2006)
*

The CES wishes to draw attention to the article ‘Head-on strategies’ published in the September 2006 issue of LDR, the magazine for school leaders published by the National College for School Leadership.

Reflecting the positive relationship between the CES and NCSL, the current edition of the magazine features CES Chief Executive Oona Stannard highlighting positive steps taken by dioceses to invest in leadership development.

Extract

‘In the North East a group of dioceses is offering sabbaticals for heads in which they can spend time working on their own action research or on leadership development issues as a group.

“It’s also time for them to reflect on the spiritual side of their role as leaders, and heads who have done it say they come back feeling refreshed and more enthusiastic”, says Oona Stannard.’

We will shortly post a link to the full article on this website.
