In response to the CES report A catholic partnership for life long learning, two courses have been devised by a group of advisers
 
The ASET Certificates in the Way of Faith will create a national standard in this area of religious education, bringing together much of the learning that is currently available. Its broad aims and objectives are:
 
The Way of Faith – Horizons - Level 3. (60 Guided Learning Hours)

Objectives of the Programme

• Deepen the student's knowledge and understanding of the ways in which scripture and tradition underpin and challenge contemporary culture
• Enhance the student's theological and religious literacy
• Develop the student's spiritually, morally, socially and culturally as individuals and citizens

Develop the student's higher order skills which will aid their understanding of and their ability to apply the teaching of the Church to matters of contemporary significance and to the ultimate questions of life.
