Under the Schools Standards and Framework Act 1998 (SSFA 1998) and the Local

Authority Reports Regulations all Admissions authorities are required to provide

information to their Local Authority, on request, to enable the Local Authority to fulfil

its statutory duty in providing a report to the Chief Schools Adjudicator. The Schools

Adjudicator has provided CESEW with his correspondence to Local Authorities on

this matter, including Guidance and a template for the Local Authority’s Report.

CESEW has made this available to each Diocesan Schools Commission. Please
