Community Cohesion
*

In this section of the CES website, you will find information relating to issues under the banner of "community cohesion".  This includes a list of relevant websites, the DCSF online community cohesion resource pack for schools and the CES publication Catholic Schools and Community Cohesion: CES Guidance (2008).  It is hoped that in future this section might feature case studies of schools engaged in work with the wider community.  We have used previous examples of good practice to inform our conversations with Government and the media and to contribute to the DCSF guidance on the duty to promote community cohesion, as well as in our own recent guidance document.  Where we can provide concrete examples, we are better able to show the contribution that Catholic schools make to the local, national and global community.

If you have any comments, suggestions or nominations for this section, please email general@cesew.org.uk or telephone 0207 901 1900.
