Thank you very much for expressing an interest in teaching in a Catholic school. Our schools and pupils depend on their good teachers – people such as you – for their success. Teaching is a wonderful career and I am particularly pleased that you want to offer your skills and enthusiasm to our Catholic sector. I am sure that you will find a Catholic school a particularly rewarding place in which to work.

May I take this opportunity not only to wish you well in your chosen career but also to invite you to keep up to date with Catholic education issues and in touch with the CES through this website.

I hope that you will look to specific vacancies in Catholic schools which are regularly posted in the Catholic Gazette, national educational press and through parish newsletters.

For students about to gain QTS and seeking appointment at a Catholic school
or other teachers interested in seeking a post in a Catholic school. On receipt of your completed form we will alert dioceses to your availability and they will be in touch with you if they have anything that may be of mutual interest.

to your interest in teaching in a Catholic school.
It does not replace the need to make specific applications for particular posts.
