One Person Can Make A Difference

I am pleased that the CES is able to help the Bishops’ Conference Committee for Catholic-Jewish relations by sharing some resources for use in your school or college, encouraging prayer and reflection for Holocaust Memorial Day.

The attached resources have been prepared by Sister Clare Jardine, a member of that Committee.  They include a PowerPoint presentation which I hope you may find useful for a school or class assembly.  Additionally, a leaflet is attached giving some more background information, including statements from Pope Benedict and Pope John Paul II.  Our attention is drawn to the Church’s teaching on the dignity of all in Nostra Aetate.  Sister Clare also includes further ideas for resources and parish or school activities.  I hope that you will also be able to print out and use the final piece of Sister Clare’s materials which is a poster.
