Teaching Awards 2006
*

We are rarely given the opportunity to thank teachers for their life-changing work. The Teaching Awards represent an annual opportunity to shine a spotlight on the outstanding work taking place in Britain’s schools every single day. Teaching is simply the most important profession there is, and the work of the Teaching Awards Trust in celebrating teachers’ commitment, dedication, creativity and care is unique.

This is your opportunity to help us celebrate the unsung heroes of the teaching profession who have made a real difference to pupils’ lives.

Who can I nominate?
Absolutely anyone can make a nomination, and you can nominate:

  • Teachers, headteachers and teaching assistants
  • School governors
  • Schools – for the Award for Healthy Schools

Just go to www.teachingawards.com.  We all know that teachers are inspirational people who change lives for the better - help us celebrate their achievements and reward their dedication.

Five good reasons to make a nomination:

  1. There is no better way to say thank you
  2. Teachers touch and change young lives – help us publicly acknowledge their creativity and dedication
  3. You know that amazing work is carried out in your school every day – this is an opportunity to shout about it
  4. Winning a Teaching Award is a celebration for the whole school community
  5. Teachers make a difference – make a difference to a teacher

Nominations must be made online by 1 March 2006 – so don’t delay and nominate now!
