CES holds successful Parliamentary Reception (6th June 2007)

On 6th June, the Catholic Education Service held its third annual Parliamentary Reception to celebrate the success of Catholic education.  Hosted by Geraldine Smith MP, the event was attended by 100 representatives from across the education spectrum, including headteachers, diocesan officers and Members of both Houses of Parliament.  Notable guests were Archbishop Vincent Nichols, Jim Dobbin MP, Baroness (Patricia) Morris of Bolton and the Reverend Jan Ainsworth (Chief Education Officer of the Church of England).
