Read the full statement... Faith in the System (2007) The CES is delighted that the Government has praised schools with a religious character for their important contribution to community cohesion. In a vision statement, 'Faith in the System: the role of schools with a religious character in English education and society', which is signed jointly by the Government and the providers of all faith schools with a religious character, the position of faith schools is firmly reinforced at the heart of the English education system. List of Catholic schools/consortia involved in first Diplomas (from Sept 2008) The CES has just received the list of Catholic schools which are members of consortia successful in passing through the Diploma Gateway in Category 1 for September 2008. The list gives the subject of the diplomas that consortia will offer, where this has been communicated to us.
