CESEW Census 2012

The CESEW Census 2012

The CESEW Census is a survey of Catholic schools in England and Wales.  It provides essential information on Catholic education from national to diocesan level, underpinning policy decisions at both local and national levels and enabling the CESEW to be proactive in promoting Catholic education.

As a result of the hard work of Census Representatives in the dioceses, together with that of the Census team at CESEW, the response rate in 2011 was over 95%, meaning the data could be used with confidence.  The Bishops expect schools and colleges to complete the CESEW Census since, only with a high response rate from the entire sector, can we demonstrate the diversity and inclusiveness within it.

The Census opens on 23rd January 2012.

A new, dedicated Census website was launched in November 2011. The new website contains full details of support periods, together with online documentation and other information. It also includes a file upload form, which replaces the FilesAnywhere dropbox used in previous years.

The website URL is https://www.cesewcensus.org.uk.
